Piesslinger is an approved premium coater – Sea Proof Plus to GSB standards.
The quality of the surface therefore complies with all the defined and approved requirements of GSB International for component coatings.
How we work
TECHNOLOGY FOR THE GSB SEAL OF QUALITY
Piesslinger coats GSB Premium quality coatings to the highest quality seal of “Sea Proof Plus”. The process of pre-anodising realises the best corrosion resistance against salt laden coastal air.
“GSB Premium” quality is achieved by chromium-free conversion in the new vertical and horizontal coating lines: By using sophisticated plant technology all workpieces (such as profiles and plates, etc.) are treated equally. This environmentally-friendly treatment, which forms a colorless conversion coating, is monitored by an X-ray fluorescence analyzer (XRF)! In addition to a careful pretreatment, a precision baking process of powder materials is important for error-free powder coating. Piesslinger has developed a computer-based evaluation module, which allows precise control of the temperature curve in the baking ovens. As a result, the optimum baking conditions can be achieved for various part geometries and powder types.
QUALICOAT SEASIDE – Quality in Coating
For many years, the Qualicoat Seaside seal of approval has stood for sustainable protection and optimum quality for surfaces. According to strict standards and guidelines, the quality of pre-treatment, coating, coating technology and the correct application of coating materials for the processing of aluminium are checked. Furthermore, the seal ensures that the coating is protected against aggressive environmental influences such as emissions or salty air in coastal areas.
Vertical Cleanroom
The unique vertical coating system provides excellent performance with the highest quality as well as diversity in batch size and production.
The range of components comprises aluminum profiles and sheet metal strips with a length up to 7400 mm and a cross section up to 250 mm.
Horizontal Cleanroom
The unique cleanroom horizontal coating line ensures flexibility with the highest quality and diversity in production.
The range of components includes aluminum profiles, sheets, flashings, frames, segmental arches and small parts!

SURFACES INSPIRED BY NATURE
Deceptively real surface structures – such as wood grain and other motifs, where irregularity is key – can be realized in the modern powder coating facility at Piesslinger. The manufacturing process – a multilayer system based on in-house expertise – functions so that every part is unique in terms of surface pattern and color, and therefore captures the natural grain of wood products.
These fine decorative finishes are manufactured using highly weather resistant powder coatings, which are impressive in preserving value for many years!
